Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a project of Samaritan’s Purse that delivers shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies to children around the world as a tangible expression of God’s love through the hands of local partners. Samaritan’s Purse is bringing shoebox gifts and the message of the Gospel to more than 100 unreached people groups each year. Hundreds of new churches are being planted each year as a result of OCC outreach events and discipleship.
50 shoeboxes were packed and sent in November of 2024 (we typically send 100 shoeboxes but this year the funds for the additional 50 boxes were diverted to send to a school in Carter County, TN toward helping purchase items needed for children effected by the flooding of Hurricane Helene). Thank you for all your contributions toward this worthwhile ministry!
We are currently collecting for 2025. Here is a list of items needed: Toboggans, Gloves, T-Shirts (2-3; 5-9; 10-14), Soap, Washcloths, Toothbrushes, Brushes & Combs, Pencils, Crayons (24 pack), Pencil Sharpener, Markers (10 pack), Small Notebooks, Stuffed Animals, Dolls (Barbie, Rag Dolls), Games (Puzzles, Small Crafts), Matchbox Cars, Baseballs, Yoyos, Small Plastic Sewing Kits. We plan on assembling 100 boxes and postage is $10 per box. You may also give a monetary donation to purchase needed items.
